Product Description
YOKOHAMA DEXRON ATF VI is a low-viscosity, fully synthetic transmission fluid for stepped automatic gearboxes requiring DEXRON VI performance. Balanced friction characteristics help promote controlled clutch-pack and torque-converter lock-up engagement. Shear and oxidation stability support lubrication at operating temperature, while the fluid helps protect gear, bearing and hydraulic-control components against wear, deposits, corrosion and foaming.
Application Areas
Intended for torque-converter automatic transmissions in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles specifying GM DEXRON VI fluid. Earlier GM DEXRON II or III applications are considered only where DEXRON VI is permitted for the particular transmission. Selected power-steering and other hydraulic systems may be served when the required fluid specification is the same.
