Product Description
YOKOHAMA DEXRON ATF DIII is a semi-synthetic automatic transmission fluid formulated for DEXRON III and MERCON-type automatic transmissions. Its balanced friction response promotes controlled clutch operation and smooth gear shifting. The formulation is designed to help preserve oil-film continuity over changing temperatures and to control oxidation, wear, foam and corrosion in transmission assemblies.
Application Areas
For compatible passenger and commercial vehicle automatic gearboxes requiring DEXRON III-G, DEXRON III-H or Ford MERCON performance levels. Also suitable for consideration in torque converters, power-steering systems and hydraulic units designed for the same ATF type. Construction equipment, manual transmissions and earlier DEXRON II-D duties require application-specific fluid compatibility.
