Product Description
YOKOHAMA HEAT TRANSFER OIL is a range of mineral-based heat transfer fluids developed for indirect process heating in industrial circulation systems. The oils are intended to transfer heat between a heater and process equipment while supporting stable temperature control. Thermal and oxidation stability help limit oil degradation, viscosity changes and deposit formation; suitable fluidity assists circulation and maintains heat-exchanger performance.
Application Areas
For enclosed, liquid-phase, forced-circulation heat transfer circuits used in chemical, textile, paper, woodworking and general manufacturing operations. Applications include plastic-processing equipment, mould temperature controllers, dryers, reactors, storage tanks and heat exchangers. ISO VG 32 and 46 provide viscosity options for different start-up conditions and pumping requirements. Bulk oil temperature and heater film temperature are separate operating considerations.
