Product Description
YOKOHAMA GEARBOX is a series of industrial gear lubricants based on conventional mineral oil technology and an extreme-pressure (EP) additive system. Designed for enclosed gear drives operating under substantial mechanical loads, the range supports load carrying capacity and protective oil-film formation on gear teeth and bearings. Its lubricant characteristics aim to manage wear, oxidation, rust and corrosion, while water separation and foam control help maintain dependable splash and circulating lubrication.
Application Areas
Developed for enclosed spur, helical and bevel gearboxes with EP/CLP-type lubricant requirements. Typical duties include industrial reducers in cement production, steel processing, mining, paper mills, conveyors and crushers. Compatible bearings and ancillary components may share the same oil circuit. Selection among ISO VG 68, 100, 150, 220 and 320 depends on gear speed, load and normal bulk operating temperature.
