Product Description
YOKOHAMA COMPRESSOR OIL is a range of industrial compressor lubricants in ISO VG 32, 46 and 68, developed to support lubrication and heat transfer in compressed-air equipment. The lubricants are intended to help maintain a protective oil film on moving components while controlling wear, corrosion, oxidation and deposit formation. Air-release, water-separation and foam-control characteristics are relevant to the reliable operation of compressor lubrication circuits and oil-air separation equipment.
Application Areas
For compatible oil-injected or oil-bath rotary screw and sliding-vane air compressors used in manufacturing plants, workshops and industrial compressed-air systems. ISO VG 68 may also be considered for selected reciprocating compressor duties where the equipment design permits. Grade selection takes account of operating temperature, compressor type, loading and lubrication arrangement. Suitability for refrigeration compressors or special-gas service requires separate assessment.
