Product Description
YOKOHAMA TRANSMISSION SAE 90 GL-1 is a single-grade gear lubricant for manual transmissions and gear drives operating under mild service conditions where API GL-1 protection is specified. Its SAE 90 viscosity supports a lubricating film across gear and bearing contacts. Thermal stability, oxidation resistance, rust protection and foam control help maintain dependable lubrication during service.
Application Areas
For manual transmissions, axles and final drives in passenger and commercial vehicles requiring SAE 90 and API GL-1. It may also be used in suitable construction, mining, quarrying and agricultural equipment where the same grade and performance level are specified. This product is not intended for hypoid gears or other applications that require extreme-pressure protection such as API GL-5.
