Product Description
YOKOHAMA TRANSMISSION 80W-90 GL-5 is a multigrade automotive gear lubricant for drivetrain components operating under high loads and changing service conditions. Its extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties help protect hypoid gear surfaces subject to high contact pressure and shock loading. Thermal and oxidation stability help resist oil thickening and deposit formation, while rust, corrosion and foam control support dependable lubrication of gears and bearings.
Application Areas
For passenger cars, commercial vehicles and suitable off-highway equipment requiring SAE 80W-90 and API GL-5 in differentials, axles, hypoid gears and final drives. Manual transmissions or other gear units should be considered only where the equipment specification calls for GL-5 performance and this viscosity grade.
