YOKOHAMA TRANSMISSION 80W-90 GL-4 is a multigrade gear lubricant developed for manual transmissions and compatible automotive gear systems. Its lubricating film supports load-bearing gear contacts, while GL-4-level extreme-pressure performance helps protect components across changing speed and torque conditions. Thermal and oxidation stability help limit oil thickening and deposit formation during service. Rust, corrosion and foam control support reliable lubrication of gears, bearings and related drivetrain parts.
Application Areas
For passenger cars, commercial vehicles and suitable off-highway equipment requiring SAE 80W-90 and API GL-4 in manual transmissions and gear units.
