Product Description
YOKOHAMA TRANSMISSION 75W-90 GL-5 is a semi-synthetic automotive gear oil developed for drivetrain components exposed to changing loads and temperatures. Its extreme-pressure and anti-wear characteristics help protect hypoid gear surfaces under high contact pressure, shock loading and low-speed, high-torque conditions. SAE 75W-90 fluidity supports oil circulation in cold operation and a continuous lubricating film at operating temperature. Oxidation resistance, together with rust, corrosion and foam control, supports reliable lubrication of gears and bearings.
Application Areas
For passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy-duty on- or off-highway equipment requiring SAE 75W-90 and API GL-5 in differentials, axles, final drives and hypoid gear units. Construction and agricultural equipment may use it in mechanical gear units where this grade and performance level are specified. Use in manual transmissions, transfer cases or synchronized systems only when the equipment manufacturer specifies API GL-5 and the lubricant meets the system s friction and material requirements.
