YOKOHAMA IMPROVE SAE 5W-20 SP/RC is a fully synthetic engine oil developed for modern gasoline engines, including turbocharged direct-injection designs and compatible hybrid powertrains, where SAE 5W-20 is specified. Its low-viscosity characteristics are intended to help reduce frictional losses and support efficient lubrication during cold starts and everyday driving. The balanced base oil and additive system is formulated to support wear protection, oxidation stability and engine cleanliness by helping limit deposit and sludge formation. The API SP Resource Conserving and ILSAC GF-6A performance categories address demanding requirements including low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and timing-chain wear in applicable gasoline engines.
