Product Description
YOKOHAMA IMPROVE SAE 5W-20 DI-3 is a fully synthetic engine oil developed for gasoline direct-injection and turbocharged engines where SAE 5W-20 is specified. Its low-viscosity formulation is designed to support fuel-efficient operation while maintaining a protective lubricating film and promoting reliable oil circulation during cold starts. A balanced base oil and additive system helps control wear, oxidation and deposits to support engine cleanliness. API SN Plus performance requirements place particular emphasis on protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), which can affect certain turbocharged gasoline direct-injection engines.
Application Areas
Developed for passenger cars, light‐duty gasoline vehicles and compatible hybrid engines using SAE 5W‐20 motor oil. Applications include naturally aspirated and turbocharged gasoline engines with API SN Plus / SN Resource Conserving or ILSAC GF‐5 lubrication requirements.
