YOKOHAMA MONO GRADE SAE 40 is a single-grade engine oil for four-stroke engines requiring this viscosity. Its detergent and dispersant properties help control deposits and sludge, while its lubricating film supports protection against wear and corrosion under specified service conditions.
Application Areas
For naturally aspirated diesel and gasoline engines where SAE 40 monograde oil and API CC or API SC performance is specified, including compatible commercial, stationary, agricultural and construction equipment. Use in hydraulic systems or transmissions only where the equipment manufacturer specifies monograde engine oil of this viscosity.
