YOKOHAMA MONO GRADE SAE 30 is a single-grade engine oil for engines and equipment that specify this viscosity. Its detergent and dispersant properties help control combustion-related deposits and sludge, while oxidation resistance helps limit oil thickening in service. The formulation supports wear and corrosion protection for dependable operation in traditional engines using monograde oil.
Application Areas
For naturally aspirated or turbocharged diesel engines, commercial vehicles, stationary engines and off-highway equipment where SAE 30 monograde oil and the stated performance level are specified. Suitable applications include trucking, construction, mining, quarrying and agriculture. For gasoline engines, use only where SAE 30 and API SC are specified. Hydraulic systems and transmissions may use this oil only when the equipment manufacturer permits monograde engine oil at this viscosity.
